Fact: Greenpeace organized, funded and supported illegal acts of trespass, property damage and violence.

In response to the misinformation campaign that Greenpeace distributed and amplified, thousands of protestors traveled to North Dakota. Greenpeace USA taught and trained protestors methods to attach themselves to construction equipment, among other tactics.

Additionally, Greenpeace provided funding to groups such as the Red Warrior Camp, often through donation drives and fundraising tied to the misinformation Greenpeace sent its members, and pushed to the general public.

Red Warrior Camp’s tactics were so increasingly aggressive that the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe’s council voted to ask the camp to leave. Prior to the vote, former Red Warrior spokesman Cody Hall was asked to step down after protestors “blocked roads, set fires along roads and bridges, and threw Molotov cocktails and debris at law enforcement.”
